I only collect information that you voluntarily provide to me, which may include:

• Contact Information: Your name, email address, and company name when you fill out the "Get Quotes" form.
• Project Details: Information regarding your technical requirements, budget, and project scope submitted via the contact form.
• Usage / Analytics Data: Non-personally identifying visit information collected when you browse the site. This may include: timestamp, page path, referrer, browser name and version, operating system, device type (Mobile/Tablet/Desktop), screen size, language, approximate country and city derived from IP, an optional device model when exposed by your browser, a randomized session identifier, and the client IP address. This data is used only to understand how the site is used and to improve the user experience; it does not include your name or email unless you submit them via the contact form.

2. How I Use Your Information

The information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries and provide accurate project quotes.
• To communicate with you regarding freelance contracts, deliverables, or support.
• To optimize the website's performance and user experience through aggregated analytics.

3. Analytics and Visit Logs

Visit data is recorded to power an internal analytics dashboard that I use to monitor site health and understand visitor behaviour. Records are stored in a private, server-side dataset (Sanity) controlled by the site owner and are not publicly accessible. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location (country and city) and to help detect abuse. I do not attempt to identify individual users from these logs.

For clarity: device hostnames (for example, the name you gave your Mac) and browser profile names (such as a Chrome profile name) are not collected and are not accessible to this site.

4. Data Storage and Security

Contact form submissions are securely transmitted to my professional email inbox. Visit logs and analytics data are stored in a private Sanity dataset and protected by server-side credentials (not exposed to the public). I limit access to this data to the site owner and use standard security practices to protect it. If you request deletion of your visit records I will remove them from the dataset where reasonably possible.

5. Third-Party Services

This website may use secure third-party services to provide specific functionality. Examples include email API providers (Resend) for email routing, Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection, a geo-IP provider (ipapi.co) to estimate country/city from IP addresses, and Sanity for storing visit logs. These services only process the data necessary to perform their functions and are subject to their own privacy policies.

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

This website uses browser localStorage to remember your theme preferences (Light/Dark mode) and to cache visit records locally if the browser is offline. When possible, visit records are also sent to the server so analytics reflect all visitors rather than only data stored in your browser. You can clear local data at any time via your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the personal data I hold about you, or ask that your data be deleted from my records. To exercise these rights, email me via the Get Quotes page or directly using the contact information on this site. When asking about visit logs, include approximate timestamps or other details to help locate the records.
